#365patterns Round-up

365PatternsJanuary-01Well, we’re three months into our daily pattern challenge and we’re continually amazed at the response we are getting from other designers. There have been so many great contributions and it is so fun to browse through Instagram each day looking at everyone’s patterns. We know that it has become a great way for us to challenge ourselves creatively and hope that it has become that for the other designers joining in as well.

We wanted to do something each week to recognize everyone who has contributed. Since we’re a little late (sorry about that, guys!), we’ve decided to do a few monthly roundups to catch up and next week, we will start sharing our favorites from the past week every Monday, here on the blog.

Today, we’re so excited to share a few of the favorites from January! You can see the patterns above and below you can find the usernames of each of the designers who created them.

Top Row: @stephfizercoleman / @almaloveland / @livylovedesigns

Middle Row: @ashleylaurensnyder / @thewellroundedwoman / @pisbelo / @anniekblake

Bottom Row: @penelopeandpip / @howjoyful / @echo_bravo_charlie / @fifthandhazel

Keep the awesome patterns coming, guys, and remember to tag your designs #365patterns so we can all see! Even if you’re not a designer, you can still follow along by searching the hashtag on Instagram, or just following along here on the blog. Please leave comments and help encourage and even give some feedback to those participating. Help everyone do what this challenge is meant to do: push themselves as designers and become better.

And for the designers: don’t feel like you have to contribute a pattern a day! Feel free to participate once a week, once a month, whatever fits your schedule. Whatever you can do, we’d love to have you join in. If you feel like joining the movement, here’s what you need to do:

1. Design whatever you want as a pattern (it can be by hand, on computer, etc)

2. Post it on instagram and tag it #365patterns (Feel free to blog about it)

3. Let your viewers know that this is a collaborative event with lots of designers, and to see the collection of patterns and for more details to go to the caravan blog

*Obviously you will own full copyright to your pattern, and anything we share will be by your permission only.

We are loving all of the designs that are being submitted and can’t wait to see what else you all have up your sleeves!
