Alleluia! A DIY Nativity Puzzle

Overview of Alleluia: A DIY Nativity puzzle

Today I am excited to release my Alleluia! Nativity puzzle. Working on this project has been a true labor of love for me, as I have never undertaken such a detailed or meaningful project.

This puzzle features 2 versions of the same scene so that each tile can help to tell the story. As parents sit down with children to assemble the puzzle, the Christmas story can be learned and celebrated. No matter which side of the tile is showing, all the tiles work together, for a total of 225 possible combinations.

To make this project, simply print out the artwork provided in the download (it includes assembly instructions!). Cut out each square, and adhere the pieces to opposite sides of a sturdy tile (it can be wood, foam, thick card stock, etc.). For durability use a hard tile like wood, and seal with Mod Podge. The puzzle will last for years and become a family tradition.

As with all of our products, you only need to pay for the artwork once, but you can print it as many times as you like. Alleluia! would make a meaningful gift for friends, neighbors, and family this holiday season!

Here are some products I recommend:

2-inch wooden tiles

3-inch wooden tiles

matte Mod Podge (Glossy tends to remain tacky even after drying)

5-mm craft foam, available at most craft stores

About the Artwork

As a mother of a 3-year-old and an 18-month-old, this year I am mindful of what I can do to help teach them the Christmas story. Motivated by my love for them and my desire to help them make an emotional connection to the birth of Christ, I spent over 40 hours creating, detailing, and perfecting this illustration. I sincerely hope that it finds its way into your home and becomes a family favorite that you can bring out year after year!
